Lima City Tour+ Catacombs & the Magic Water Circuit Park

Itinerary

🍃  2:00 pm: Your tour guide and professional driver will pick you up from your hotel or accommodation.

🍃 Then, you will have a leisurely 30-minute ride to the first attraction, “La Plaza San Martín”. This beautiful square was built to celebrate our Peruvian freedom. In the center of the square, we will see an important statue in honor of General San Martín. In addition, this imposing square is surrounded by beautiful buildings such as the Colon Theater, the Gran Hotel Bolivar, and the National Club. It will take us at least 15 minutes to visit and learn about each heritage surrounding the square.

🍃 We will walk along the Jr de la Union, which is the most important street in the historic center of Lima. In its streets, we will be able to observe many mansions of the time as well as an impressive church called “La Merced”, which has a majestic facade that will amaze you.

🍃 It is undoubtedly one of the most impressive squares in Lima. The history of this place dates back to the founding of the city in 1532. Throughout the centuries, the square was the scene of many historical events that changed the history of our country.

🍃 The main square is surrounded by important buildings such as the Government Palace, the main Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Lima City Hall, and the Union Club, among other important buildings. Your tour guide will give you a detailed explanation of each of the buildings mentioned above. Please note that the internal visit to these places is not included, so all explanations will be from the outside of the buildings.

🍃 This fascinating church dates from the seventeenth century and is undoubtedly an icon of the historic center. Inside the church, we will see original colonial paintings, Sevillian tiles, realistic statues, carved wooden statues, etc.. Inside this mysterious place are the famous tenebrous catacombs of Lima.

🍃 The Magic Water Circuit, inaugurated in the Parque de la Reserva, has become one of the most visited tourist attractions in the city of Lima. It features amazing fountains scattered throughout the park. Each of the fountains is perfectly synchronized with lasers, color, and music. It will take us about 1 hour and 40 minutes to explore the entire park. After visiting the park, we will have the drive back to the hotel, which will take about 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

🍃  7:30 pm: After the tour, we will return you to your hotel or, if you wish, we can drop you off at a restaurant or any other place of your preference (only if you are in Miraflores, San Isidro, or Barranco). If you would like us to drop you off in a different district (outside of our official pick-up and drop-off areas), we can arrange this for a small additional cost.

🍃 8:00 p.m. hours approximately: We will be back at your accommodation.
