Join us to visit one of the most important archaeological temples of the central coast for more than a thousand years. Where people from all over the Andes came in search of solutions to their problems or answers to their doubts. In which, many pilgrims participated in the great Andean rituals, because Pachacamac was a prestigious oracle capable of predicting the future and control the movements of the earth is why, to appease their will of Pachacamac offerings and human sacrifices were made. This archaeological complex was inhabited by different cultures such as the Lima culture, Wari culture, Ychsma culture and Incas culture, led by the tenth emperor, called Tupaq Inca Yupanqui.
🍃 9:00 am or 2:00 pm:
We will start by picking you up from your lodging and then we will go to the Pachacamac Archaeological Complex.
🍃 During our tour we will first visit the site museum where we will be able to observe some textiles, ceramics of the different cultures developed in the place. We will also have the privilege of meeting the highly respected oracle, Pachacamac.
🍃 Then we will visit the archaeological complex where we will be able to observe the temple of the chosen ones known as Acllahuasi; the Pyramid with Ramp, place where the consultations to the Oracle Pachacamac took place.
🍃 We will also have the privilege of visiting the Qhapaq Ñan (Inca road); the Taurichumpi Palace, known as the administrator of the place; the Max Uhle cemetery, where many mummies were found, the Old Temple, the Painted Temple and finally the Temple of the Sun.
🍃 12:15 pm:
After the tour, we will return you to your hotel or, if you wish, we can drop you off at a restaurant or any other place of your preference (only if you are in Miraflores, San Isidro or Barranco). If you would like us to drop you off in a different district (outside of our official pick up and drop off areas) we can arrange this for a small additional cost.
